As for the floats/costumes/performances for the parade, the theme for Earth Day is Planet VS Plastic. We ask that as much as humanly possible you reuse, rework, and/or scavenge from campus or elsewhere. 𝐖𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐮𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐭/𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐦𝐞/𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞! We have an abundance of resources here on campus and we're excited to see what you all come up with! ♥ Also, the QRC encourages folx to dress in drag or other "slay attire", rally behind numerous pride flags for various queer identities, and weave queerness into your parade float wherever possible to celebrate your queer students - it IS Gaypril, after all!! ♥
