Come join Adventure Programs on a hike at the beautiful Black Balsam Knob with a picnic lunch at the peak! Students of all hiking experience levels are welcome. We will meet at Bryson Gym at 10am on Sunday 9/29 and depart from there, and arrive back to campus by 4pm at the latest. We will provide sack lunch as well as some snacks and drinks. Bring a backpack, water bottle, warm layers, and closed toed shoes, plus optional snacks and a blanket to sit on or bundle up in, since it gets chilly up there! The cost of the trip is $5 and please bring it to an Adventure Programs crew member at lunch tabling or at the climbing wall to secure your spot.
