DCMF at the NC Arboretum

Arboretum, by Decoda bassoonist Brad Balliett, is a unique musical work featuring a collection of solos and duets inspired by different tree species. 

Performed simultaneously throughout the gardens, the piece creates an immersive soundscape that invites audiences to stroll along the paths and move freely among the musicians. As the music unfolds across the landscape, the Arboretum itself becomes a living, breathing musical environment.
