The Diwali Festival on Warren Wilson College Campus is a vibrant celebration of the Hindu festival of lights, Diwali, organized by the Asian Culture Club. It is designed to promote cultural awareness, foster intercultural understanding, and provide an opportunity for students, faculty, and the wider community to come together in a spirit of unity and celebration. The program will take place in Sage Cafe, in the fall semester, aligning with the traditional Diwali timing. It serves as an acknowledgment of the diverse backgrounds of the college's student body and an opportunity to share and appreciate the rich cultural heritage of the Hindu community and South Asian cultures in general.
