Each One Teach One Through Food (E1T1) is an Asheville-based nonprofit delivering fresh, locally sourced meals to underserved communities across Western North Carolina while equipping neighbors with practical culinary skills to do the same. In this session, E1T1 shares their story, including how they pivoted in the wake of Hurricane Helene to prepare and distribute over 25,000 free meals, and where they are headed as they work toward building a permanent home for food justice and self-sufficiency in the region.
