What if uncertainty isn't the enemy of climate action, but the very thing that makes it possible? In this keynote, ecologist and educator Tony VanWinkle invites us to sit with the discomfort of not knowing and find within it a more honest, adaptive, and even playful relationship with the natural world. Drawing on the archetype of the trickster, Tony will explore how embracing complexity and contradiction in climate science can open up new ways of thinking, responding, and moving forward. Woven throughout will be reflections on this land, a grounding in right relationship and land acknowledgment, and a vision for where Warren Wilson College and this community are headed together.
