Preliminary findings will be presented from the research project "Increasing community resilience to inland flooding: Lessons learned from response and recovery efforts in West Virginia and North Carolina,” which is funded by the National Science Foundation and co-led by Siti Kusujiarti (Warren Wilson College) and Jamie Shinn (SUNY ESF). Results from interviews, focus groups, participatory mapping, and a survey will be presented, and next steps will be outlined.
