Join us to celebrate Sheep Shearing Day with a breakfast that has been foraged from all corners of the campus. Chef Gavin Baker and WWC students invite you to a day filled with sustainable delights, showcasing the versatility of both meat and plant-based dishes. Start with Acorn Pancakes with Black Walnut Syrup and Fresh Breakfast Sausage from our farm. Next, try our Pine Bark Crackers topped with Fermented Botanicals and Fresh Farmer’s Cheese - compliments of Ethel, the campus dairy cow! Join us to learn more about wildcrafted cuisine, then stay while John Vess, WWC’s Food Manager, teaches the art of churning butter from scratch and Rosemary Thurber showcases the secrets of the Herb Cabin by choosing just the right aromatic flavors to highlight our various fresh cheeses. This is one not to miss!
