The new MS in Applied Climate Studies at Warren Wilson College is hosting a virtual open house on Thursday, October 9th, from 6:30-7:30 PM EST.  Warren Wilson started the MACS program this past June with twelve great students who are engaging with various community partners to address the most critical issue of our time and build more resilient communities.  This dynamic, applied, low-residency program is science-forward, centered on data analysis, grounded in justice, with an understanding of policy and planning, and backed up with skill sets in management and leadership.  Students work on year-long community partner projects, take classes across a range of topics, and engage in three summer 12-day residencies:  one in the beginning, one in the middle, and one at the end of the program.  The next starting residency is in June (14th - 27th), 2026.  In this virtual open house, we will provide an overview of the MS in Applied Climate Studies (or MACS) program and answer any questions you have.  We look forward to seeing you there. Register at this address: https://zoom.us/meeting/register/vf-8XyDHQwunO0801ipCMw and we will meet on Zoom.
