Bio: Nico Albert Williams (ᏣᎳᎩᎯ ᎠᏰᎵ, Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma) Founder and Executive Director of Burning Cedar Sovereign Wellness, a nonprofit intertribal communal space with a mission to help Native people in Tulsa, Oklahoma improve their spiritual, mental, emotional and physical health by reconnecting to land, traditional foodways and ancestral wellness practices. Nico spends her time growing, foraging, cooking, eating, studying, writing, and speaking about Indigenous cuisine. She shares a fireplace and plays music in the Indigenous sludge metal band Medicine Horse with her husband, Kyle Williams Sr (Ponca, Otoe-Missouria, Ioway).
